Motorola Razr 40 Series Launch
Last week, the Motorola Razr 40 series, comprising the Motorola Razr 40 and Motorola Razr 40 Ultra models, was unveiled in China. It has now been confirmed that these phones will soon launch in India.
The base model of the clamshell foldable features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, while the Razr 40 Ultra is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The phones are equipped with 4,200mAh and 3,800mAh batteries, respectively.Additionally, it has been announced that the clamshell foldable handsets will be available for purchase in India through Amazon.
Motorola recently confirmed that the Razr 40 series will soon launch in India, but specific details regarding the release dates, variants, and pricing were not provided by the company.However, Motorola India announced that the phones will be available for purchase through Amazon.
The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will be offered in Fengya Black, Ice Crystal Blue, and Magenta color options. The 8GB + 256GB variant of the Razr 40 Ultra is priced at approximately Rs. 66,000, while the 12GB + 512GB variant is marked at roughly Rs. 74,200.
Motorola Razr 40 Specifications
The standard model of the Motorola Razr 40 is available in Azure Grey, Bright Moon White, and Cherry Powder color options. It comes in three storage configurations: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB. The prices for these variants are listed as approximately Rs. 46,000, Rs. 49,000, and Rs. 54,500, respectively.
Display and Camera Features
The latest Motorola Razr phones feature a 6.9-inch pOLED inner display with a resolution of 1,080x2,640 pixels. The Razr 40 Ultra boasts a high refresh rate of 165Hz for its inner screen, while the standard Razr 40 has a 144Hz refresh rate. The Razr 40 Ultra also offers a 3.6-inch pOLED outer screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz, whereas the base model comes with a 1.5-inch secondary display.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is equipped with a dual rear camera setup comprising a 12-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 13-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. On the other hand, the Motorola Razr 40 features a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. Both phones feature a 32-megapixel front camera for capturing selfies.
Battery and Charging
The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is equipped with a 3,800mAh battery that supports 33W wired fast charging and 5W wireless charging. On the other hand, the Razr 40 comes with a larger 4,200mAh battery and supports 30W wired fast charging and 8W wireless charging.
